Following a successful Cambridge Japanese Festival earlier this year, we’re already looking ahead to the next outing. The 2026 edition will again be presented throughout February and March in collaboration with the Japan Foundation, Film@Jesus, Jesus College, and Cambridge Festival. Events will be held in the Frankopan Hall, Jesus College. Reduced price passes are available below until the end of December. Tickets and regular pricing will be released in late January 2026. By confirming early, you’re not only ensuring your place at all film events in the Festival, but you will also allow us to maintain a sizeable programme for this edition.
Join us at Jesus College, Cambridge, for a performance and workshop with the SOAS Min’yō group—an inclusive community music group who gather at SOAS, University of London, to learn and perform Japanese folk songs (min’yō). With members ranging from their teens to their 70s, some who speak Japanese, some not, yet all love the music. The group features singers, shamisen players, shakuhachi players, percussionists, flute players, dancers, singers.
