My studio in Osaka is in an area which has been undergoing rapid transformation. Invitations to local events or exhibitions often take the form of postcards that include small stylised maps to help people find their way. I’ve used these maps to create my own maps of a fictitious city, erasing the placenames, and stitching streets together.
