The 2025 edition will be presented throughout February and March in collaboration with the Japan Foundation, Film@Jesus, Jesus College, Cambridge University, and Cambridge Festival. Events on the 8th Feb and 2nd Mar will be held in the Frankopan Hall, Jesus College. The full line-up includes several UK premieres, ten regional premieres and nominees for this year’s 48th Japan Academy Awards inc. ‘A Girl Named Ann’, ‘A Samurai in Time’, and ‘All the Long Nights’.

Throw in a bullying sister-in-law (KUDAMATSU Maya) and a reclusive colleague (TO Chikara), and Yuko’s once-peaceful life becomes a tangle of bizarre relationships in this black comedy.
