Nicolas D. Sampson is a writer-producer, and the author of the poetry collection Όμορφη η Υφήλιος (Our Beautiful World) by Armos Books. He wrote and co-produced Behind the Mirror (winner Best Thriller in the Manhattan Film Festival); and was an executive producer on Show Me the Picture: The Story of Jim Marshall (winner Best Arts or Music Documentary) and Hope Gap. His short stories and novellas have been published in literary journals such as The Scofield, American Writers Review, LIT Magazine, and The Hong Kong Review, among others. He has written a novel about an author who goes out for a walk in the London winter night, and who then struggles to find his way home, which is currently being pitched around. He’s also working on a greek translation. And is currently involved in the film UK/Irish co-production 500 Miles, a family story about two runaway brothers who are trying to reach their estranged grandfather on the west coast of Ireland.
