Murzban F. Shroff

(India)

I draw patterns with my toes against your blushing feet
I prod your deadened heel and hope you feel the heat

I meet your stodgy calves in a wholesome series of grips
I feel my shadow move to your anticipatory hips

I squeeze your pudgy thighs with a slightly bemused palm
Just to tell you, babe: you are way out of harm

And then I raise my head and go kaput in your eyes
Love has had its way: my body tells no lies.
