Paula Lee: Senior Editor

“Do we travel in order to see the world, or hoping that the world sees us? With Panorama, we hope to shift points of view by widening the gaze, focusing on the vitality outside the limiting frame. Too many peoples and places get cropped out of travel narratives, leading to stories so homogenised they aren’t even aware they’re referencing each other instead of the fullness of being. It’s the 21st century.
Time to change perspectives on the panoply of lived experiences around our home, this earth.”

Paula is an author and editor of five books, including Deer Hunting in Paris, winner of the 2014 Lowell Thomas award of the Society of American Travel Writers. An academic historian, she is a faculty fellow at Tufts University, and was the Friedel Fellow at the University of Leipzig.
